The Excire license server (id.excire.com) handles license management exclusively. Only the information required for licensing is transmitted to the license server; during registration this is primarily your name and email address, and when starting Excire Foto Office Edition, a unique identifier of the respective computer. For security reasons, authentication is handled via OAuth 2.

License management does not establish any interface to your company's drives or files, and grants Excire no access to local or network drives. In particular, no photos or other files, directory structures, or their contents are transmitted to the Excire license server.

The actual processing of photos, including AI-based analysis, takes place entirely locally on the respective computer. The license server's sole purpose is to verify authorization to use the software and to manage the corresponding licenses and activations.
