Delete duplicates in Excire Search
We have a tutorial on the basic function of the Duplicate Finder on our YouTube channel.
A special feature of Lightroom is that you cannot delete photos from collections directly from the hard disk in Lightroom. Right-clicking only allows you to remove photos from the collection, but not to delete them from the disk.
Since Excire Search returns the search result to Lightroom in the form of collections, the program behavior is the same.
However, you can mark the images to be deleted with an indicator, for example the "Rejected" flag, and then filter by this indicator in the normal image overview. Deletion is then possible. Unfortunately, we cannot influence the way Lightroom works via our plugin.
