A photo in RAW format is not displayed

For raw data, Excire Foto uses operating system (Windows or MacOS) functions.

For Windows, please install the MS RAW extension.
Please install the raw image extension from Microsoft. Then perform the following steps:
Restart Excire Foto
Remove the affected photos from your Excire Foto database
Add the photos again by synchronizing the folder that contains the images
Alternatively to steps 2 and 3, you can remove the entire folder from Excire Foto and add it again.

If a RAW format is not supported even then, there is still the option of converting the RAW photos to DNG format using the free Adobe DNG converter. This is lossless and is displayed by Excire Foto without any problems.

Idea
Some cameras offer several raw formats in the settings: uncompressed, lossless compressed and compressed. It can be worth trying out different settings here.
